with this model, only the connection from the device to the sub is via bluetooth. the two soundsticks still have extremely short cables. however, the line soundstick can be extended with an RCA (chinch) cable. the right one cannot, as the buttons for louder and quieter are there. The quality is great :) Except for the short cables, I find everything top. (The sub needs the power connection)

too short ^^ one cable is a mono rca that can easily be extended. the other cable (right speaker) is a plug that looks something like a ps2 (mouse and keyboard not the console) from the past for this one it will be harder to find an extension. and about the cable lengths i would estimate about 1.5 meters :) here is a picture of the connections google also helps: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2011/01/harman-kardon-soundsticks-iii-review/harman-kardon-soundsticks-iii-d.jpg

Hi, One is a basic RCA so you would need an RCA extension as one side would need to be female the other male. But the other one are not standard connector, and the cable also special one because that side has the volume control on the speaker. I suggest you to extend the RCA side only with some decent and thick wire in this case you'll have not too much difference between the two sides.
