As far as I know, the HDMI output is intended for connecting a monitor/TV device. Since a media server is installed on the NAS, it is possible to stream media stored on the built-in hard drives. However, I do not have any experience with this. I have integrated the NAS into my home network and can therefore stream the data (music, films, photos) stored on the NAS to all connected playback media (TVs, radios, smartphones and tablets) without any problems.
Yes, I think so, just one with a SATA port.
Simply replace the existing SATA storage media with double capacity ones, preferably from the same manufacturer.
