I'm currently thinking about using this motherboard as the basis for a new PC with a Ryzen 5000 CPU (e.g. Ryzen 7 5800X). What I have understood so far is that the X570 chipset is compatible with the new CPUs, but that a BIOS update is necessary. But what I don't understand is how I can do this update?!?! Do I need a CPU of the current generation (so that the PC runs and the BIOS update can be done) or does it somehow work directly with a 5000 CPU?

I would wait until the manufacturers have confirmed compatibility via a bios update.
