Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD (MZ-V8P1T0BW): Why is the unit without 'heatsink' significantly cheaper than without? Or the other way round: Does Digitec now send its customers to MediaMarkt for this?
That's just the way it is. In this day and age, prices are no longer rationally based on the fact that a product made of more material has to be more expensive than one with less.
And asking Digitec about the reasons why the price is so high/low is wasted time. The official answer from Digitec doesn't really help with "Our prices are based on blah blah blah availability blah blah blah current purchase prices blah blah etc pp etc".
In addition, the Mediamarkt offer may be a promotional price. They are currently running a promotion called Brandweek (big brands at small prices), which also includes Samsung.
