I can't find the most important information in the technical data... M.2 slot 1 on my MSI X570 board does not accept SATA SSDs. Now the description only says M.2 M instead of PCI-E or SATA... Can anyone help?

The most important information is not missing...

There are two types of SSDs that both use the M.2 interface. The difference is the data protocol used:
- SATA
or
- NVMe (= PCIe)

So if your board does not accept SATA, it must be the other one. This is the preferred choice anyway, if the possibility exists.
Unfortunately, there is more than one X570 board from MSI, so I can't help you more precisely.
