Question about Hl Data Storage Bh16ns55
It is increasingly confirmed in forums that the LG BH16NS55 can also read the new Ultra-HD blu-ray. (If so, I am surprised that LG does not officially advertise this...) Can anyone confirm this?
It can read them, I can confirm that. The disc is recognised and is displayed in Windows Explorer with the disc title. But I still don't have any software that can do anything useful with it (playback of UHD/4K Bluray not (yet) possible). But that may be a question of time until software is delivered that can do something with the new discs.
