Question about Playseat Evolution Alcantara

I've had the chair for 2 years and play every other game on it because it's very comfortable and you sit "fixed" on it without sliding around. On the one hand, you can simply push the chair backwards to have more space for your hands with the controller. On the other hand, by loosening just one screw, the entire steering wheel can be pulled out of the holder and put to one side without having to unplug all the cables. This leaves the field of vision and movement free. I would recommend it.

The bar can be removed completely. However, it can then happen that the seat, which is no longer fixed, tips backwards if you lean too hard.

I only use the seat when I really play racing games, otherwise I sit on my normal chair.
In the "racing position" the steering wheel and its bar would probably get in the way, but you can move them so they don't get in your way.
