I have enquired at the road traffic office. A bell and a fixed rear light are a must in order to be allowed to ride on the road or cycle path. We have fitted the bell. Unfortunately, they couldn't help us at the bike shop to fit a rear light. Can you tell me a model of rear light that can be permanently mounted on the ES1?

Rear light and bell are compulsory. I have mounted this (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s3/product/knog-plus-rear-20lm-velolicht-9398806) on the rear mudguard without the bracket. It's easy to attach and holds perfectly. This bell is perfect and mega simple. knog. Oi small

So insofar as the rear light does not have to be explicitly attached to the scooter itself, I can recommend the knog. Plus Rear (20lm). Otherwise, you can certainly tinker with it (tip: hot glue).

In Switzerland, fines are not regulated in a catalogue, but in the Ordinance on Administrative Fines OBV:

Personally, I am not really sure what the legal situation is.
For example, does this article or the catalogue of fines (no fines for missing lights during the day) mean anything more?

without modification so clearly not allowed on public land and leads to fines if it goes badly....

Is this scooter suitable for road use ex works, as it says in the product description, or not? To be honest, I don't want to have to fiddle with a rear light...

Why does Digitec write that it is roadworthy as it is sold, if you still don't have to retrofit it with a bell and rear light?
