Hello Anonymous. Thank you for your feedback on the dehumidifier Theo. We are sorry to hear that Theo is causing you concern. Have you been able to completely disconnect Theo from the power supply for at least 24 hours and then start it up again? If the metallic click still persists, you are welcome to contact us directly at service@stadlerform.com or by telephone on 041 720 48 48 so that we can look into the matter together. Kind regards from your Stadler Form Team

Yes, you can set the Stadler Form Theo dehumidifier so that it only runs at certain times. The Theo has a timer function that allows you to programme an operating time of 1 to 7 hours. You can therefore set the start delay and the operating time so that the dehumidifier runs from 9.00 pm to 6.00 am.

Hello LeanTonica56. Thank you for your comment regarding our Theo dehumidifier. We are sorry to hear that Theo is worrying you. Noises are very individual and are perceived differently from person to person, so a remote diagnosis is always difficult. May we ask you to contact us directly by email at service@stadlerform.com and possibly send us a sound recording or video file of the noise so that we can better assess it? You are also welcome to contact us directly by phone on 041 720 48 48 so that we can look at this together. Kind regards from the Stadler Form Team

That seems very unusual to me. I have never checked the exact values we reach, but in any case the unit switches off at 40% operation. The perceived humidity is then also about right.

The flap at the top of the unit is folded up/open so that a lot of air flows out? The unit stands freely in the room and can suck in air well (at the back of the grille)? Case 2x Yes, then something really does seem to be wrong. Normally, you always hear a change during operation, whether the compressor is running and cooling the condenser or whether only air is being sucked in. This noise change should also be heard every 5-10 minutes.

Have you checked how the unit is set, i.e. up to what humidity (e.g. 50%) it should dry? Maybe the humidity is effectively too low.

Hello Anon Yes, it's exactly the same for me. After reaching the humidity level, the compressor switches off but the fan continues to run.
