Lenovo Active Pen
The new Active Pen 2 has a sensitivity of 4096 pressure points, if you can put it that way. The pen of generation 1 had half that.
Good day As far as I know, there are countless models of this pen. Actiive pen 2, 3, Digital Pen 2, etc. According to the manufacturer's website https://www.lenovo.com/ch/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpadx1/thinkpad-x1-yoga-gen-8-(14-inch-intel)/len101t0052?orgRef=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.ch%252F#compatible_acc under Compatible Accessories the Digital Pen 2 is listed. It is best to ask the manufacturer. Best regards.
Either recharge, replace the tip or buy a new one.
Unfortunately, I have not found one.
No, this pen only works with selected laptops. For a tablet, I recommend a capacitive pen. https://www.digitec.ch/search?q=kapazitiver%20stift
According to Lenovo support, the Pen Pro is better suited for the X1 Extreme
The pen does not have to be switched on or off. It is ready for use at any time.

Notebook is definitely compatible with this stylus. Are the batteries fully charged? If both were bought as B-ware, you cannot rule out the possibility of a defect. If the device was purchased from us, you are welcome to contact our customer service by e-mail or phone, and we will check :-)
Yes, it works. I have the same laptop and this pen.
This pen was also recommended to me, but it didn't work. I exchanged it for an Adonit. This one works quite well. Adonit Jot Pro 3
According to the Lenovo tool, it is compatible.
Perhaps Lenovo simply sells this "Wacom ESP10110C5" under a different name.
I have a yoga notebook myself and actually bought this pen by mistake, but it works fine with the yoga notebook.
It depends on which Miix version you bought. According to the official form, there are different versions. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows-based-Tablets/Lenovo-Miix-320-10ICR-Active-Pen-support/td-p/3719280
Unfortunately not, but the following item would work. Lenovo ThinkPad Pen Pro
