No, no remote control and no sensor.
Interrupting is possible with a little manual skill. The contact points are clearly marked, but must be exposed with a cutter, for example, and are then probably no longer gold-plated. What speaks much more against the product, however, is the colour temperature. We did not use the strip because, contrary to the description, the colour is extremely cold. We then found something more pleasant at OBI.

The strip lights up as soon as the plug is connected to a socket with voltage. It has no switch on the cable. It is best to hang it on a switched socket so that you can switch the light on and off without having to pull the plug every time.
The extension can be plugged together with the start strip using the pins that can be seen in the pictures. The respective delivery time is always declared with the product.
