I have a 2x150w solar system, in series ~18A charging current. And I am planning to install a 200ah lifepo consumer battery in my camper. Is the Ctek too small or perfectly suited for this?
I have already installed some Ctek dual regulators. These are awesome. I wonder if 200Ah LiFePO4 is needed or if 100Ah is enough. For 200Ah you have a maximum of 2*20A charging current available. So a complete charge takes over 5h.
I once installed a 230Ah AGM with a Ctek Smartgenerator. up to 140A go through it. You have to find out whether your LiFePO4 can handle this. In many cases a charging current of more than 50A is not suitable.
Please note the cable cross-sections for high currents!
