With AGM, the negative terminal (depending on the vehicle, it can also be the positive terminal) should be connected to the chassis and not directly to the battery. It is best to check the vehicle manual.

The device is only supplied with a Schuko plug by the manufacturer. I also have a charger like this that was supplied with a fixed Schuko plug. I also received a Schuko/CH adapter. The plug is a bit bigger, but I don't have any problems with it.
