Hello, is internet browsing practical with this? Are today's e-ink tablets a bit faster with image refresh than a few years ago? I read few books few pdfs, but read a lot via the internet browser (Firefox). Even when standing in a lot of sunlight. With a normal tablet it's just extremely reflective, it's impractical and that's why I could imagine such an e-ink tablet.
The refresh rate is a lot faster than on my old Kindle, but scrolling on a web page looks pretty awful: the font smears across the screen, so to speak, and then the image returns to normal pretty quickly. If you spend your time primarily reading test-based articles and scroll down/up only occasionally, I think it's fine (although for longer articles I export the web page as a PDF first). I would rather not use the device for fast website browsing. The main advantage of this device is, in my opinion, the possibility to read (specialist) books/articles from different sources (Kindle, Google Books, epub/PDF/etc., browser if necessary).
