Would the be quiet! Pure Rock 2 FX 155 mm cooler cool the CPU optimally? Or which cooler is suitable for good cooling performance? Only no water cooling.

Hello, I was faced with exactly the same question.
At the time, I decided on the Be quiet DARK ROCK.
It cools excellently and fits quite well in terms of colour.
It also cools nicely in a Shadow Base 901. I have the Kryo Sheet z.w. Fan and CPU. I was sceptical at first but the results speak for themselves.
10 min Bench with Cinebench it just comes to 72°.
The 150W TDP is too little on the Pure Rock, you need 170W TDP for your CPU.

I have the Noctua NH-D15 installed in a bequiet Pure Base 500 DX case with 4 case fans.
CPU does not go above 77 degrees even under full load with prime95. However, I have reduced the max TDP of the CPU in the bios.
Effect: far less heat with only a few percent less performance.

Hi as I can only join the previous speakers is if you do not want to have water cooling make sure that the cooler can cool best around the 250 watts waste heat because think of the summer and 30 degrees if you have an attic flat it will be warm quickly and consider the noise the cooler then makes mfg Dennis

The X3D CPUs have a relatively low power consumption, but they do get hot because the heat has to pass through several layers. The Pure Rock should be enough, but Noctua's NH-D15, for example, would certainly run quieter and be usable for later builds, as Noctua supplies free mounting kits for new sockets.
