Would it be possible to combine this RAM with my existing RAM without suffering performance losses, or would it be a problem for Dual Channel? I currently have two 8GB sticks installed (Corsair Vengeance LPX Black, 2x 8GB, 3200MHz, CL-16-18-18-36) which would result in 48GB of RAM after this purchase. The motherboard supports up to 64GB and has four RAM slots, so no problem there. Thanks a lot!
Should work. You will certainly manage the 48GB. Whether it works with the CL+ values is certainly dependent on the motherboard's state of mind. You won't notice any minor deviations anyway.
But if the box becomes too slow, it's worth dumping uninvited software inhabitants out of the system.
