Question about AsRock Deskmini X300
With which BIOS? Ryzen 5 5600G running without bios update? (11/2021). Would like to switch from NUC, but if I had to buy a second cpu, that would be a no-go.

In the meantime Digitec delivers with Bios 1.7 (was on my new bought on 30.12.2021 and Ryzen 5700G has accepted the Bios at the first go)
I ordered a Deskmini X300 in 11/2021, which unfortunately came with the old BIOS 1.4.

I had to upgrade the BIOS with an older supported CPU and then use the
Ryzen 5 5600G CPU with a Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 cooler.
Conclusion:
+ inaudibly quiet
+ top performance
+ top barebone solution

Ask the customer service if they can do the BIOS update. In the past, they even lent out CPUs.
