With a 50hz input signal, a very annoying high-pitched sound can be heard from the projector. According to a forum post I found, this sound could be coming from the laser light source.

Have other buyers noticed this problem and is there any solution? The only solution I have found so far is simply to use the other refresh modes.

I never experienced this problem with my unit.
