Will this laptop support an external monitor through a universal usb-c docking station, for example, Icy Box IB-DK2106-C?

No, I think it is not. The USB-C connection does not support any display connection. My USB-C monitor does not work - I need to use HDMI. I think the Intel version does work - the AMD one not.
