Will this fit in a Synology 980+ as a cache?
But there is one thing to note. This is a QLC SSD with an SLC cache of 12GB. If you plan to transfer backups or other large amounts of data to your NAS at once, you will only have full speed for the first 12GB, after which performance will drop to normal SSD speed. Until the p660 has written all files from its 12GB SCL cache to the QLC partitions. Depending on how your network is set up, you could then have losses.

I wouldn't worry about the small cache of the 660p, but that it is an SSD based on QLC. The 660p only has a TBW of 200TB.
If I understand correctly, Synology will disable a cache SSD in the NAS when the SSD reports that it has reached its TBW. This means that while you have to replace the Intel 660p, others are still running. Because Samsung SSDs, for example, have much larger TBWs (~600TB). This does not save money.
You'll have to check the technical data sheet of your synology thing yourself...
