Question about Sony Playstation VR2 (US) + Horizon Call of the Mountain
Will all pre-orderers have to wait in vain for months at digitec again, as they did with the PS5, until they receive the pre-ordered device? With the PS5, I ordered within the first few hours when pre-orders became possible and still waited in vain for delivery 6 months after ordering from digitec. Finally, I was able to order one at short notice from another supplier and cancelled with digitec. I am therefore somewhat surprised that digitec is still allowing pre-orders a week after they started.

I can't guarantee anything about the final delivery. At the moment, however, the supply/demand ratio seems to be better than for the PS5 launches, which is why pre-orders can still be placed.
I'm 99% sure that Digitec will let masses of orders go and in the end the consumer will be left out in the cold. They probably don't even know how many they'll get for the release, but I don't think they'll get more than a few hundred! And I'm sure they already have several thousand pre-orders!
