How far does the bracket go down behind the screen, measured from the top edge? I'm a little worried that I won't be able to mount the lamp on my monitor. I have an Acer Predator XB271HUBMIPRZ and after about 7.3 cm measured from the top edge there is another strong bulge.

It is approx. 7.0 cm. If it doesn't fit, why not put a small felt glider or similar on the edge of the screen, then put the holder on top. I can highly recommend the lamp!
