acceptable without a canvas but you can see uneven surfaces. if the wall is not perfect, neither is the picture!

I wouldn't recommend it.
Noemal plaster does not work, a wallpapered wall is best.

I use it without a screen. Works great for me. The wall is whitewashed and not super smooth. Of course, if you look closely at the light areas in the picture, you can see one or two irregularities. But if you're not a perfectionist, that's no problem at all. It's not noticeable at all when watching films.

I use the beamer with a screen. The grainy surface makes the image too unstable in my view.
