Why is this model not Smart-compatible? I already have the gateway, which item do I need to order? Greetings and thanks
I was in the same situation. I had a gateway and bought the 250. Unfortunately, you have to look carefully before you buy. I now understand that only the 500 is available as a Smart. The 250 cannot do that.
There is a third provider who offers its own WLAN modules for retrofitting: https://www.robonect-shop.de/shop....
These modules implement their own solution and are not compatible with Gardena Smart. If you use this solution, the existing gateway is superfluous.
