Why is it that when I plug my turntable into the KB43 no sound comes out?

no, the KB43 does not have a preamplifier. these are also available separately.
After reading various articles, I think this may be due to the lack of a phono preamp. I'm sure my turntable doesn't have one. Does the KB43 have one?
Have you attached the speakers correctly?
