You are of course welcome to import the product from the USA and then pay the import fees, shipping costs and VAT, which is never included in the USA, as this varies from state to state. Furthermore, the product is in stock here. Furthermore, I don't even want to know how you want to handle the warranty in case something doesn't work anymore or you get a Monday model.

Just as Brimstone says, this product is imported directly from the USA. We therefore have to pay import fees, shipping costs and the American VAT. In addition, the warranty claims have to be covered by us directly, because the product is not officially available in Switzerland.

Oh bla bla why do we need to pay import costs that a big shop should deal with and sell the equipment the price it is officially sold for. God Switzerland wake up stop throwing money at this dumb burocracy.

We live on a high-price island. Products in Switzerland are massively overpriced anyway, and when small quantities are imported, the costs naturally explode. That's just the way it is!
