Why does Frameo not fill the frame completely with the photo, even though I have sent a photo to Frameo in landscape format and Frameo is also in landscape. I have to tap on Settings and then on Fill frame every time!

Because the aspect ratio is not right. That's my guess. The frame has an aspect ratio of 3:2 and the picture probably 4:3 (smartphone or similar).
