Which projectors are suitable for mounting at a distance of approx. 1 metre from the screen? (Ultrashort do not seem to work)
very good
The further away the projector is from the screen, the larger the projected image will be. The closer the projector is to the screen, the smaller the image becomes.
You would therefore first need to check whether the projector of your choice requires a fixed focal length and therefore a fixed, unchangeable distance from the screen or whether the focus (and therefore the sharpness of the image) of the projector can be adjusted. If the focus is adjustable, you can also vary the distance to the wall and therefore the image size.
The question arises as to why you want a distance of 1 metre, as the aim is normally to keep the distance as small as possible.
The Hisense PL1SE, for example, has a possible picture size of 80-120". The distance between the back of the projector and the front of the screen therefore varies between 215mm and 429mm (80" 215mm / 90" 259" / 100" 318mm / 110" 374mm / 120" 429mm).
The respective distances and dimensions can be found on the manufacturer's website.
It is also important to consider the distance between your sofa and the screen. Because a picture can also be too big if the distance between you and the picture is too small. Personally, I find 100 - 110" perfect for a distance of 3 metres.
I hope this helps you.
