Question about HP ProBook 450 G7
Which of the available HP docking stations are recommended for this model? I need to be able to connect a network cable, 2 monitors (hdmi), mouse, keyboard, external cd-rom drive. Of course, the docking station should also charge the laptop or provide a power supply for the laptop.
The on/off button of the HP ProBook 450 G7 cannot be pressed when the notebook is closed. It was important to me that I only have one cable (USB C with power) to the notebook and that I can switch it on and off when it is closed. That's why I bought an HP USB-C Dock G5. This has an on/off button on the top to switch the notebook on or off when closed. The notebook is simply connected with the supplied USB-C cable. The docking station has, among other things, two display ports, one HDMI, 1x RJ45, 4x USB.
As I do not use a docking station, I cannot answer this question. Sorry!
