Hello Shopper, we use the 1D12 variant. This is the "weaker model" but something like the Max-Q variant of the chip and therefore much more efficient. The power dissipation of this model is reduced by more than half with only a 20% drop in performance. If we were to install the 1D10 version in a device as thin as this one (1.39 cm), you would only enjoy the performance gain for a short time because thermal throttling would clock the chip down after a short time. Possibly even below the performance of the 1D12. As a nice side effect, the chip also needs less juice, which increases the battery life.
