Where does the specified minimum distance of 2.5m come from? Can the projector be set up closer? At a distance of 2m, the image width is still 1.6m, which would be sufficient for me.

Mine was not able to focus from a distance 1.5-1.8m, but 2m worked perfectly well.

Mine hangs at 2.38m. Measured from the front of the projector to the wall and came up with a picture width of approx. 2.04m.
