Mount the SSD on a SATA interface using a caddy:
Lindy m.2 NGFF to SATA Adapter
Then use a SATA to USB Bridge:
Sharkoon Quickstore Portable, SATA, USB 3.0 (2.5", Chrome)
I have both products in use and they work wonderfully, even if you want to install the SSD later in a PC without an M.2 interface, for example.
