Question about Garmin DriveSmart 55 Full EU MT-D

When I switch it on, I have to enter the location (Switzerland) and the language (German) EVERY TIME. Is that really the case? Or how do you save this permanently?

This is not the case with my unit, the settings are saved. I cannot say why it is not saved on this unit. Either it's in the manual or the unit is defective.
