Question about JVC KW-DB92BT incl. DAB antenna

I also think that the permanent positive is not present here. The instructions state that for certain types of vehicles the cables must be crossed with the steady plus assignment. I installed this device in a VW Polo instead of the original radio. The JVC device with DAB+, USB, Bluetooth, AUX and hands-free phone system was cheaper than all the accessories for the original radio.
The connection was a real fiddly job for a layman like me. First I had to get the right quadlook adapter and then I had to measure where and when the current flows on which cables and assign them accordingly.
In the end, everything works perfectly like the original.

This is because the steady plus is not present and the radio loses its settings every time. In my case, the steady plus and ignition plus were simply twisted. I had to cross the red and yellow wires on my adapter; my adapter has extra plugs for this so that you can easily turn them. It's probably the same for you. Everything works for me now as it should. BTW: I like the radio, also the hands-free and Bluetooth functions.
