Solution: We had the same problem. Resetting the TCL Watch helped.

I was actually very disappointed at first because of the delay in delivery. Then we got it but couldn't use it because we didn't have a valid sim card. We made enquiries with all the providers, but unfortunately they are all very expensive for a 7 year old child. But we were still easily satisfied. 
But thank you for your product and your work!
