A bit of a weak point of Arlo
(SONOS music boxes are better networked there...)
For outdoor cameras, I have placed a wireless MESH WLAN router as close as possible indoors
(wall with 3-fold insulation)
The Arlo outdoor camera has a distance of approx. one metre
In this configuration, the outdoor camera has 2 points on the live image circuit

My connection was also poor with the standard Wi-Fi router.
After switching to the Arlo Hub (which sets up a separate Wi-Fi network), the connection is more stable and we can save on the Arlo subscription.
