What kind of SSD can be connected to the M.2 interface? Can drive C: also be connected to the M.2 interface. Which SSD is recommended M.2 M or M.2 B / NVMe or AHCI?

Helpful answer

I always recommend taking a look at the manual of the mainboard beforehand, there's a lot in there ;-)
Regarding your question, M.2 M (where M.2 M also includes B, see SSDs) is supported for this mainboard. NVMe is important because the M.2 SSDs are controlled via PCIe (NVMe means that you don't need extra drivers, AHCI only concerns SATA interfaces).

If you have NVMe, you can easily set it up as a C: drive.
e.g. Samsung 950 Pro (256GB, M.2 2280)
I own it myself and it works without any problems so far.
