Have had the same problem the difference the appearance and colour and
* ICY BOX IB-1824ML-C31 the designation 24 = new type of model with led or something else

and with these two it is with a heat conductive plate , in my opinion only the led is different otherwise not
the details could have been described better but digitec never does that
