Question about Pimax 5K Plus
what do you need for the Pimax 5K Plus ? 2 HTC Vive Contoller 2.0 and 1 HTC Vive Base Station 2.0 ? Are the 2.0 versions compatible ?
You need either the Lighthouse Base Stations and Vive Controller version 1.0 or 2.0.
If you don't want to track a huge room, version 1.0 with 2x base stations and 2x controllers is cheaper.
If you want "perfect" tracking, you need 2 Base Stations mounted in front of and behind you. With only 1 Base Station, I recommend only seated VR experiences without great mobility.
The Valve Index controllers are also compatible. Pimax also wants to release their own controllers, but that may take a while.
