Question about Pioneer Cd-R33

Unfortunately, you can only control the basic functions with it: volume, next music track and a few other things.

All other functions are only possible when watching a DVD. Then it's a remote control like a TV player.

I bought the thing so that I wouldn't be distracted while driving or so that I wouldn't have to use the touchscreen. However, the sensor must have visual contact with the device. Unfortunately, sticking it to the steering wheel is not possible. I have it on the centre console with a non-slip pad.

Alternatively, you can attach pressure points to the display for the most important virtual buttons, such as volume, so that you don't have to look at the display when driving. Works well, too.
