What BIOS version do these boards currently come with? Are the Ryzen 5600G and 5700G supported "out of the box" - or does it take an older processor to update the BIOS first?

Helpful answer

Unfortunately, my board was delivered with BIOS 1.0, meaning that no Ryzen 5000 worked here. I had to borrow a Zen 2 3700X from a colleague to update the BIOS. It would be really desirable if Digitec had several old Ryzen processors available for loan.

Thank you for your helpful answers!

@digitec: That would be an additional service, upgrade to new BIOS version, wouldn't it? At least I would be willing to pay something for it, of course. :) Buying an old processor or otherwise organising it, just so that a new, basically supported CPU works, is not possible at all.

Same here, unfortunately with these boards it must always be assumed that they have been in stock somewhere for a long time and therefore come with old BIOS versions. If you don't have a 3000 CPU lying around, you are probably better off with a board that supports BIOS flashback (BIOS update without CPU installed). The B550 ITX boards from ASUS (ROG Strix B550-I Gaming), Gigabyte (B550I Aorus Pro AX) and MSI (MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI) have this feature.
