What are the dimensions of the base (which you screw to the table)? I only have a depth of 7 cm. Will it still work? Thank you very much!

The foot is 9cm deep. The clamping plate at the bottom is 5.5cm deep. So if you only have 7cm at the top, the plate at the bottom is only 3.5cm deep.
Do you mean what the maximum thickness of the panel should be?
