Question about Garmin Venu 2S

What about the "temperature detection" function? What experiences have women had with it for daily basal body temperature measurement? Can it be measured automatically (at a certain time)? Or can the temperature only be recorded manually? How reliable is this temperature detection as a contraceptive method?

I own the watch and it cannot measure the temperature. According to Garmin, the "Tempe Sensor" is needed for this.
I have also been looking into this contraceptive method for a while and have tested 2 sensors. A measurement on the surface of the skin is much too inaccurate. The measurement must also be possible to within 2 decimal places, which is not the case with this watch. You are much better and above all safer with a Daysy or Trackle.

According to Garmin, you can monitor and record your menstrual cycle with this model. This allows you to see if you are approaching menopause and if you are pregnant. This data can be found in the health statistics in the submenu "Menstrual cycle/pregnancy.
