Question about Tefal Optigrill Elite GC750D

Where there is frying, smoke and smell cannot be completely avoided. I also only use the grill under the
steam vent or outside - the barbecue season is starting, after all.

Since the fat flows into a collecting tray and does not burn on the heating rods, there is no smoke. The smell is similar to that of the frying pan. I put the thing under the steam vent and that has worked out fine.

I use the appliance in the kitchen and in my opinion there is no more smoke or smell than with the frying pan. Unlike the frying pan, however, there are no grease splashes. Cleaning the appliance is really as easy as described by "Phrsuter" . The Tefal Optigrill Elite is absolutely recommendable.

It's a great appliance, I would buy it again immediately. There is smoke and a smell, as is the case with barbecues. That's why I usually grill on the balcony. It's great that the plates don't have to be tediously cleaned. You can simply remove them, put them in the dishwasher and they are clean.
