Well, now I'll ask a question... Does anyone have similar problems as me that they can't get 4000mhz fast ram to run? Of course I could only try the gskill trident z rgb but I think this is a general problem. As soon as I have loaded the ram into the xmpprofil and with 4000mhz in UEFI, the pc boots in an endless loop and no longer comes into the bios. With 3800mhz everything works... (I know 4000mhz is unnecessary but if already then already).
Thanks, you guys are really great.
I wanted to delay the manual setting as long as possible, I don't have much experience with it but I think I'll take a closer look.
I would like to see the 4000 standing there, but that's more because it just looks cool. ;)
Otherwise you can write to Asus support, I have the Crosshair VI Hero (am4) and I can't get my Ram up to the 3200mhz specified by Asus, but "only" 2800mhz.
If I were you, I would have downclocked the ram a bit and increased the latency a bit. cl18 is already very high and your coffe lake cpu benefits more from the lower latency than from the high clock. try manually 3800 16 18 18 38 or 3600 16 16 16 36
Thank you for the answers.
The update has been done. But I'll try your tips.
Neuste BIOS Version installiert?

What does the voltage look like? I would try without the xmp profile and enter the memory data manually (latens, voltage, etc.).
G.Skill Trident Z RGB (2x, 8GB, DDR4-4000, DIMM 288)
That would be the RAM.
