Question about Singer Simple 3223G

We tried the machine fresh out of the box. The upper thread kept getting pulled in several times. At the beginning we managed to get a seam now and then, but later nothing worked. nothing worked at all. Is this a problem with the machine or have we set a parameter incorrectly? We could not make a seam with the same settings that worked before.

I think it's the sewing machine, because others have the same problem if you look under the reviews. -> After a short time of use, the sewing machine kept tangling the thread, so I sent it back. "It's best to take it in for repair if you haven't already done so. :-)
