Question about Singer Simple 3223R

We tried the machine fresh out of the box. The upper thread kept getting pulled in several times. At the beginning we managed to get a seam now and then, but later on nothing worked at all. Is this a problem with the machine or have we set a parameter incorrectly? We were unable to make a seam later on with the same settings that worked before.

Hello, I also bought the machine recently and have the same problem. I have tried different threads, settings and needles but the thread breaks after two-ten stitches.... I will return the
return the machine as a warranty case, you can't work like that.
