Question about Smeg 50's retro style with temperature control
We bought the Smeg kettle. When it is in "standby" mode, there is a high-pitched whirring noise at the base. Is this normal, or have we bought an appliance that doesn't work?

It's the same with mine. I got it today. What did you do now? Keep it or return it?
We have the same problem, is there a solution?
Same with ours - bought today. It buzzes like it's about to explode 😂 Was yours not exchanged? Did it just go away?
I also have such a troublesome sound with my smeg! Was just about to report it too! I look forward to an answer otherwise I will send it back
