Sonos Beam
Wi-Fi, Airplay, Airplay 2
We are currently building and I have planned a TV in our kitchen. To the right and left of the TV at approx. 1.8 m, I have provided two sockets for one SONE One box each. However, I was not aware that I cannot connect the SONOS boxes to the TV. My question to you is, what would you do if the TV is switched on so that the sound comes via SONOS and I can still use the boxes for Spotify when I'm not watching TV? I thought I could mount a SONOS Beam under the TV and solve the problem that way. Or would you even mount a SONOS One on the left and right of the sockets I have planned? Isn't that a bit excessive?
The additional SONOS one would actually be intended for a 5.1 system. You can use them to configure the rear left and rear right.
But if they are positioned to the right and left of the TV, it doesn't make much sense.
I would just mount the Beam on the TV in the kitchen. I think in the kitchen this should be completely sufficient from a sound point of view.
A TV in the kitchen? More than 1 speaker? Personally, I find this totally unnecessary, but if I did, I would just mount the Beam underneath or look further for a cheaper, better solution? Away from Sonos.
