I could offer you a perfect solution here. I have been working in the Mac environment for more than 30 years and have been self-employed since 2001. I have a completely rebuilt, scalable NAS server with Intel Xeon, PCIE SSD read cache, DDR4 RAM and 2 x GBit Ethernet available. It can accommodate up to 8 hard drives which can also be upgraded piece by piece at a later date. If you need 10 GBit Ethernet, this could be upgraded.
